Ará ilé ẹni kò ṣeun, ènìyàn ẹni kò ní ìwà, a kò lè fi wé alàáró lásán.

Translation: The people of our compound are not helpful, our relatives have no character, but we cannot compare them to casual outsiders.

Lílò: Àlàyé láti mọ rírì ènìyàn ẹni àti aládùgbô ẹni: bí a bá ní ènìyàn ẹni kò ní láárí, kò ní́ ìwa,̀ kìí ṣe ènìyàn rere, síbẹ̀ nítorí pé ó jẹ́ ènìà ẹni yóò ní ire kan, bí ó ti le kéré tó, tí ó lè ṣe fún ni; ní to rí náà ó sàn ju ojúlùmọ̀ lásan tí a kò ní ẹ̀tọ́ láti béèrè ohunkóhun lọ́wọ́ rẹ̀.

Use: It is best to put up with whatever wrong our relatives and neighbours do to us., as they will be more helpful to us in difficult times than people we only know casually.
